Operation Frontline

Operation Frontline Los Angeles is a partnership between the Center for Community and Family Services and Share Our Strength, a national organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger. Operation Frontline’s goal is to help families with limited resources make healthy meals at home, using a wide variety of foods that are commonly available in stores and from emergency food providers.

Operation Frontline trains and mobilizes professional chefs and nutritionists to teach low-income families how to prepare healthy, affordable and delicious meals. The success of Operation Frontline classes depends on our volunteer chefs, nutritionists, financial planners and class assistants. Individuals who share their time and skills see the tangible difference they are making in the lives of our participants and their families.
